EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER - DETROIT METRO: Automotive tier 1 supplier has positions for embedded software controls engineers. A BS degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (or BSEET) is required.

Automotive PROGRAM MANAGER - Detroit Metro Work as the liaison with customer and internal development teams (software, hardware, mechanical) to facilitate/coordinate the development & launch of product programs including requirement analysis, modeling, verification & validation. Specific responsibilities include:      * Develop systems engineering management plan, & schedule, analyze & review customer specifications * Coordinate technical issues with customer & technical team, develop systems interfaces (software, hardware, mechanical) * Develop systems specifications using structured modeling methods (structured methods: Hatley Pirbhai or UML) * Develop system test specifications, conduct system test at module level & at vehicle level * Perform configuration management * Participate in product design reviews Experience An engineering degree is not required (but desired). The emphasis is on experience in engineering and production management, from the beginning of a program to launch. Eight years of experience Embedded systems development: hardware, software, and mechanical Vehicle communication network such as GMLAN, Can. Requirements analysis & development for electrical/electronic controls Systems engineering modeling techniques: analytical skills\Statemate tool, or Simulink, or Matlab, or  MatrixX UML is a plus Verification & Validation HIL (hardware in the loop) simulator is a plus Requirements management & requirement traceability (methods & tools) Systems Engineering CMM (capability mature model) Fault analysis (such as DFMEA) is a plus Automotive manufacturing processes Body Control Module or Instrument Cluster design development is a plus Other Strong communication skills (verbal & written) & coordination Ability to work well with customer & team members Thorough, organized, self-initiative Able to work independently & well with other groups within customer organization & home company. Education BSEE desired, not required Compensation CONTRACT POSITION: $75-90k.
