Automotive Seating Program
Manager Summary/Overview
Serves as overall facilitator for development of the product program. Plans, directs and controls all activities relating to the PDP (APQP, SQA, Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing engineering). Also expected to recommend, monitor and adjust appropriate plant operating procedures for the purpose of accomplishing the program requirements. Promotes coordination and communication of program team. Conducts all program reviews.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Education & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in technical engineering field preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. Non-technical four-year degree with substantial manufacturing experience are minimal requirements. Fluent in P.C. applications for cost tracking budgeting and various spreadsheet analyses. Excellent interpersonal skills to include written and verbal communications
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in automotive manufacturing/engineering environment with prior project team management responsibility. Prefer exposure to both product engineering and manufacturing operations.
