Network Technical Analyst 11259

General Purpose of Position:
Network Technical Analyst is responsible for
managing delivery of services and review of standards in the Network area.
Ensures that voice and data network communication systems service delivery will
enable client’s continued business growth through effective delivery in an
outsourced environment.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
 |
Responsible for working with the Solution Provider to monitor the Network
service delivery processes with all client's business units |
 |
Provides guidance on process improvements for client's global voice and data
network communication systems |
 |
Works
closely with COE Service Delivery Director and BU Relationship Leaders to
facilitate overall adherence to Network strategy and specific BU needs |
 |
Works
closely with Supplier technical delivery manager to:
 |
Ensures Supplier compliance with standards |
 |
Identifies
service delivery issues and develop improvement plans |
 |
Provides subject matter expertise for all issues related to voice and
data network communications |
 |
Assists in business case development for all issues pertaining to voice
and data network communications |
 |
Reviews Supplier performance data to identify trends and issues and
develop performance improvement plans |
 |
Reviews and make recommendation on any exception request to established
voice and data network communication standards |
 |
Develops close working relationships with Service Delivery Director, PMO
organization and Business process staffs |
 |
Interacts with other COE, BU and Infrastructure Operations Sub-committee
members as appropriate |
 |
Develops close working relationship with Supplier network management,
change management and problem management groups |
 |
Interacts with other Supplier personnel as applicable

Skills
and Abilities Required:
 |
Strong understanding of voice and data network communication systems and
interrelationships with other IT systems |
 |
Knowledge of how IT systems can be structured and deployed to enable
achievement of business goals and objectives |
 |
Ability to plan operations requirements one to three years in advance
|
 |
Experience in creating and defining new operations models/procedures and
explaining complex problems or situations |
 |
Ability to build and sustain effective partnerships with third-party
services supplier |
 |
Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to
dynamic business needs |
 |
Excellent oral and written communication skills; an ability to present and
discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades
others, and gains understanding |
 |

Education, Experience, Training Requirements:
 |
Bachelor's
degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with an IT
focus |
 |
3-5 years
experience in voice and data network communication operations environment |
 |
Significant
experience and knowledge in new computing architectures and implementation
of networked computing structures |
 |
Understanding
of outsourced services delivery model; experience working in outsourced
environment a strong plus |
 |
Understanding
of network security and firewall management
