an NVH Engineer in South Western suburbs of Detroit Michigan. Three

POSITION
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the NVH
development of the diesel vehicle. Subsystems include:

(Sound Quality) |

Acoustic Trim & Body
Sealing |
Specific duties will include:

Develop plans for NVH
development |
|
Acquire, analyze and
interpret vehicle NVH data. Acquisitions will include:
Road data
Chassis dynamometer data
Modal analyses
Transfer Path Analyses |
|
Use understanding of NVH
data to develop modifications to above systems towards
performance according to vehicle and component |
|
NVH targets |
|
Interface with CAE
engineers towards NVH development |
|
Interface with Design &
Release Engineers, Plant Manufacturing Engineers and Suppliers
to implement recommended |
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
BSME - Bachellor of Science, Mechanical Engineering
SKILLS &
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1-7 years of Vehicle NVH
experience |
|
Knowledge of NVH fundamentals,
vehicle NVH problem solving, and experience in vehicle development
activities |
|
Personal drive and demonstrated
initiative |
|
Good verbal and written
communication |
