Marketing Manager, Automotive Detroit, MI
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive business growth by developing and communicating a strategic vision for accelerated business growth to the overall organization.
Lead development of business plans utilizing marketing and financial tools to deliver a roadmap for sustained differentiation and growth.
Work with global marketing managers to develop a consistent worldwide strategy for growth and business development.
Generate forecasts of existing and projected new business.
Oversee development of market based pricing strategies.
Participate in evaluation process of potential acquisition or business partnering activities.
Report data/strategies to the COO, CEO and Members of the Board of Directors.
Manage and guide a team of approximately 15 professionals.
Work closely with sales team to deliver new business opportunity closures.
Approve quarterly and long range forecasts.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities required:
BS in Engineering (with MBA preferred)
10+ years technical marketing experience with demonstrated success leading growth initiatives and managing marketing teams
5+ years automotive marketing experience
Experience with Powertrain, or Electronics, or Hybrid systems
