General Purpose of Position:
Develops and maintains long-term relationships with strategic
customers and industry leaders. Develops business plans and sales strategies to
take advantage of new business opportunities. Initiates, supports, and
participates in negotiations with potential customers. Creates, communicates
and implements long-term business strategies and plans which demonstrate
awareness of customer requirements, culture, values, and diversity. Assesses,
recommends, and promotes approaches for applying project management
methodologies and technologies to large scale and multiple projects. Provides
leadership, insight, and vision integrated with project management enabling
customers to effectively achieve business objectives. Transfers project
management knowledge through consultation and training to the customers’
organizations.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Develops
strategic IT plans to support business plans and sales strategies to take
advantage of new business opportunities. |

Leads in

Demonstrates leadership in managing change. |

methodologies and technologies to large-scale programs made up of multiple
projects. |

Provides
leadership, insight, and vision integrated with program management enabling
customers to effectively achieve business objectives. |

Demonstrates project management experience through Program Management Office
services. |

Transfers
project management knowledge through consultation and training to the
customers organizations. |
 |
Assist in
development and support of the vision and business objectives of the
organization. |
 |
Assist in
development and support of the vision and IT objectives of the organization. |
 |
Direct
the activities of resources in line with objectives of the organization. |
 |
Performs
leadership role in delivering Program Management Office services. |
 |
Demonstrates a boardroom presence when working with customer executives. |
 |
Ensure
quality and timely delivery of critical path products and services. |
 |
Establish
and maintain quality metrics and guidelines. |
 |
Implement
process and system improvements including integration with other functional
areas. |
 |
Translate
organization's business requirements into effective business solutions. |
 |
Conduct
PMO audits and quality assurance reviews of projects, define corrective action
requirements, and provide escalations as necessary |
