HEV Hybrid Electric Vehicle Engineer

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will be responsible for the design integration of Electric Steering, Electric HVAC and Regenerative Brakes in hybrid electric vehicle projects. CAD design layout of components and interaction with the vehicle packaging team to support digital mockup activities. Component/System feasibility studies to determine the optimal system layout for the above systems. Track change activity of design levels with the supplier and determine impact on overall program objectives. Work with HEV project house and Platform BOM coordinators on component part numbers, VPM activity and component weight tracking.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
BSME - Bachellor of Science, Mechanical Engineering
