Diesel Engine Controls Engineer

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Diesel Engine Controls ‑ Rapid Prototyping

Our client, a world class engine development company, seeks an experienced engineer to be responsible for conducting customer projects in the area of Diesel Engine Controls. Implementation of controls algorithms will take place in dSpace and Mototron rapid prototyping environments, while including ATI No hooks adaptations into the LCU strategies. Additional responsibilities will include; Identification and resolution of implementation issues, executing the required tests for validation and compilation of the results for the final report.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

bullet

BS in Engineering required

bullet

At least 5 years experience in engine controls

bullet

Direct experience with dSPACE

bullet

Experience with ATI No Hooks is a plus

bullet

Knowledge of validation techniques is a plus

bullet

Good understanding of engine mechanical systems

bullet

Good understanding of transmission mechanical systems

bullet

Familiarity with project management and planning

bullet

Good communication skills
